Play Def Island online for free. In Def Island, you must protect a tiny island nation from waves of invaders for as long as you can. Fire air guns at the planes before they bomb your country. Use your cannons to strike at the naval forces. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Left click or tap anywhere to load the welcome screen.
Select the large play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.
Your web browser automatically saves your best scores.
- You can view your high score at the bottom right corner of the welcome screen.
- Select Hold here to reset your progress to clear your previous scores.

        Game Play
        Basic rules
        Survive a relentless onslaught on your island for as long as you can.
        Shoot at the enemy craft from the land and the sky.
        Shooting
        On the sea
        The ships will come at you from the right side.
        To shoot at the ships, first select the cannon.
        Aim and fire at an angle close to where the ship will be.
        Remember to aim not at the ships but some distance in front of them. This is because the shell will take some time to get there.
        Make sure to avoid the mountains. Otherwise, these will block your artillery shells.
        Your cannon’s shells can take down airplanes in exceptionally lucky circumstances.
        On the skies
        Left click or tap anywhere on the rectangle to shoot.
        The bullets will fly to where your mouse or finger is pointing.
        Shoot down any of the planes that appear, preferably before they drop the bombs.
        You can also shoot down the bombs before they land.
        Lives
        You start the game with 10 lives.
        Each time a plane’s bomb or ship hits your island, you lose a life.
        Your country is presumably destroyed or conquered when you run out of lives.
        Scoring
        You earn 3 points for every enemy ship or plane you take out.
        Each consecutive shot you make increases your score by a power of 3.
        This multiplier stops when you miss.
        You can see both your previous best and current scores on the top right corner of the screen.
        Your previous best score is shown on the top.
        Your current score is shown below.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple cannon shooting games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
